Azarabadegan Co. began its study and research for the establishment of a factory for producing different plaster and artificial leather in 1974. To reach this goal engineers have taken all the possibilities into consideration of different provinces for the location of this factory, and ultimately it was determined to setup this factory in East-Azerbaijan province in Tabriz city.
After going through the plans and decisions, an area of 25,000 meters squared was bought next to Tehran-Tabriz road.

The construction of this factory consists of administrative and technical departments within an area of 12,000 squared meters and was completed in 1979. After installment and testing the machinery, factory started to produce. Ever since, Azarabadegan Co. has been at the forefront of modern technology in Iran, and employs only the most experienced specialists and technicians. Having a very strict quality control department within the factory, Azarabadegan ensures its products with best quality.

Yearly production capacity of the factory for different kinds of synthetic leather is nine million squared meters. Since 1998 this factory has begun the production of unbleached calico, Tricot and cleansing materials by investing in new weaving machinery which a portion of the production of these materials is used in the fabrication of artificial leather in the factory itself.

At the moment this company is registered in Tabriz under the law of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
